Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen Oxford, which is located at the top of the Westgate Center, has closed its doors to customers.
The news comes as another Oxford restaurant, Oli’s Thai, is set to close in 2022.

The Indian restaurant opened in 2017, but is now listed on Google and Open Table as “permanently closed,” with its lights off and the exterior closed.
Her listing was also removed from the locations section of the Cinnamon Kitchen website.
The restaurant was Singh’s first restaurant outside of London, following the success of its flagship restaurant The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen, Cinnamon Soho and Cinnamon Bazaar.
Cinnamon Kitchen Oxford has been described on Singh’s website as an “all-day casual dining concept,” with menus that “carry the same philosophy of innovation and creativity as its sister restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen in the City.”

TripAdvisor reviews have shown that it receives generally positive responses from locals, with most reviewers giving it five stars, meaning “excellent.”
Singh is one of the UK’s best-known chefs and a regular face of the BBC Saturday Kitchen and MasterChef. He is known for his innovative approach to Indian cuisine and has published several cookbooks.
The exact reason for the shutdown is currently unknown.
Cinnamon Kitchen has been approached for comment.
