Torrington LARC hosts fundraiser for setting up Everything’s Ready table

TORRINGTON – LARC’s first virtual fundraiser, ‘Everything is Ready’, is supported by organizations, businesses and Torrington residents who have donated a wide variety of cutlery.

Entries are now being accepted online for a chance to win one of the many table themed packages, “filled with just about everything you need for a fun table or picnic.” You just need to take care of the food part of the event, ”according to LARC.

“Virtual fundraising is new to LARC, and like so many nonprofits, we are trying new opportunities to generate income during a pandemic,” said Mary Ellen Kunz, Director of Development and Outreach community of LARC. “We are thrilled with the community response this fundraiser is generating and grateful for the support from so many donors. “

For future moms, Prime Time House donated a baby shower package with everything that will make a full shower including a clothesline with baby clothes, a bathtub, delicious made-to-order cupcakes, freebies and supplies to serve 24 people, a quilt and other items, with a retail value of $ 400. Cork Fine Wine & Spirits donation includes $ 100 gift card, large Yuengling (Igloo) wheeled cooler, Smirnoff Sling chair, t-shirts, baseball caps, retail value of 350 $. ” Someone ?
