As the sun went down on the evening of June 9e, The Woodlands Resort organized a private and VIP opening preview for Back Kitchen & Bar Table, officially inaugurating the new casual elegance dining destination, set amid the beautiful natural backdrop of the property’s lush golf greens.
Over 200 guests sipped on the restaurant’s myriad of adult milkshakes and craft cocktails, including the signature spicy Acapulco Sunset with Tanteo Jalapeño infused tequila. On the waterfront patios overlooking the 18e hole of the Panther Trail course, the Champagne band Allstars entertained the crowd pouring outside for a taste of the live cooking stations orchestrated by chef David Morris including succulent pig, braised prime rib and king salmon. Inside, southern-inspired bites like stuffed eggs, Chicharron Pimento cheese, and Louisiana shrimp and grits, plus an oyster bar and a plethora of delicious desserts, including a cream pie from Toasted coconut with macadamia nuts and Challah bread pudding with whiskey apples, caused quite a stir inside.

Located at 2301 North Millbend Drive on the grounds of the Woodlands Resort, the Back Table Kitchen & Bar is open seven days a week with bar and snack / small plate service from 4 p.m. and dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The snack / small plate service will continue until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
