Star wars Actor Anthony Daniels said his character was “a table decoration” in The Last Jedi.

The actor plays the C-3PO robot in the Skywalker Star wars saga, which will end with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker later this month.

But, speaking recently, Anthony shared his less than favorable take on his role in the second film of the most recent trilogy, The Last Jedi, before adding that his role in The Rise of Skywalker was “a delight”. Phew!

“In The Last Jedi I became a table decoration, which I regretted because Threepio was worth more than that, “said Anthony Empire.

“But he’s doing all kinds of weird stuff in this one. It was a delight, a joy! I can go out on a high.

“This is my third ending and I think I’ll be the saddest about this one. Return of the Jedi was … well, there were the Ewoks in it, for god’s sake! “

Comments follow a large The Rise of Skywalker The C-3PO fan theory that “Threepio” will have its memory erased by the First Order, which Digital spy readers believe this to be true.

They also follow the release of a new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker clip, which sees Rey using a classic Jedi trick.

Judging by the sound, we’ll also be seeing a lot more of C-3PO this time around. Good news.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has a release date of Thursday December 19 in the UK and Friday December 20 in the US.
