As the impact of COVID-19 lingers, businesses are getting creative to ensure the level of service their customers have come to expect. Las Vegas-based restaurant chain Rachel’s Kitchen is looking to robotic ingenuity as one of the solutions.
“Servi” is now part of the Rachel’s Kitchen team at the District at Green Valley Ranch. The award-winning restaurant, known for its healthy dishes and delicious recipes, has added “Servi” to its customer service staff. “As our Valley returns to normal in the wake of COVID-19, one of the biggest challenges has been finding enough dedicated team members,” says Rachel’s Kitchen founder Debbie Roxarzade. “We decided to take the lead in casual dining again and bring technology to The District location to help bridge the service gap.”
“Served” is about four feet tall and delivers food to waiting customers seated at tables inside. Roxarzade says, “It was fun to see the reaction from customers, especially our loyal fans. They prepare their cameras to take pictures of “Served” on their way to their table. It’s fun, efficient and “Served” helps us keep up the momentum right now.
Of course, “Served” can’t replace the incredible team members at all eight locations, but it does help Rachel’s Kitchen dedicate one more employee to creating meals, taking orders and preparing selections at take-out or dine-in at The District location.
