Launch of a chef’s table dining experience at Glasgow’s best hotel

One of Glasgow’s finest hotels has launched a unique dining experience at the chef’s table – and you’re invited.

The restaurant at the Principal Blythswood Square hotelannounced a series of luxury epicurean experiences hosted by some of the most talented chefs currently working in Scotland.

Chef’s Table is led by Blythswood Square Executive Chef Zoltan Szabo and will work in partnership with a selection of the most demanded luxury brands in the market.

The intimate and unique dining experience allows unparalleled access to Chef Szabo who will guide diners through the different cooking methods, where the ingredients come from and how they combine to create the perfect dish.

The five-star hotel is kicking off with the Moët & Chandon Accord Champagne Dinner on Thursday, September 20.



In consultation with the Moët & Chandon team, Blythswood Square’s brigade of talented chefs selected ingredients to reflect both the distinct characteristics and subtleties of each champagne, to compose an elevated tasting journey.

The five-course meal includes Isle of Mull oven-baked scallops, Lochgilphead crab and chervil dumplings, brill fillet with fennel compote, roasted fennel and razor clams, and a cake dessert. strawberry cheese with Moët & Chandon jelly, fresh strawberries and shortbread crumbs.

The chef’s table takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month starting Thursday, September 20. Prices start at £ 55 per person and start at £ 80 for premium experiences. Season passes are available for a choice of six dinners throughout the annual calendar.
