Spring is beautiful in Nashville this year. In the past two years it has gone from winter temperatures of 40 and 50 degrees straight to 80 degrees. I do not like it. The heat doesn’t bother me; under 80 and I need a little sweater, but I have to get used to it gradually. That’s what we’re doing this year. We have 60s in the daytime right now and then 40s or 50s at night. Mostly low 60s too. Really adorable ! Of course, everything is in bloom which, to me, is not a fun part of spring. I don’t mind being allergic to dogs and cats, the joy they bring me outweighs the difficulty I have breathing when they all sleep in bed with me. I find very little joy in the whites, pinks and purples outdoors and find none in the green. Blue is my color and I’m pretty sure I’m meant to live in a place like this: I don’t live a place like that though… sigh. I live in Nashville where it looks like this right now: And because it looks like that, I take a lot of allergy medication.
