A female entrepreneur, who wowed UK Dragons’ Den judges earlier this year, was one of the guest speakers at the last Cavan Business Women’s Club in 2021 on Zoom.

Dublin-based Sharon Keegan, Founder and Managing Director of sportswear brand Peachylean, shared her take on how she’s built her business from starting her kitchen table in 2018 to the sale of products around the world and have the confidence to apply for UK funding in Dragon’s Den.

She received an investment of £ 100,000 or € 115,137 in the popular TV show.

Mary Sadlier of Meath-based Coole Swan Cream Liqueur also spoke in the evening, whose company has won numerous accolades including “World’s No.1 Cream Liqueur” and one of the “100 best spirits in the world ”. The theme of the Cavan Business Women’s Club event was “The future looks bright with a world of opportunity” and the 30 businesswomen who attended the virtual event heard from the two business speakers.

They also said that customer service and the right team are the keys to success.

The women of the Zoom call also had the opportunity to express themselves and introduce themselves as well as their commercial offer.
