Dolly Parton is as glamorous as she is free-spirited. The American singer-songwriter and actress traveled 360,000 miles in her custom Prévost bus. Averse to flying, this house on wheels was his solution to commuting across the country. “I have homes all over the United States, but my favorite place is on the bus because that way I can just feel those wheels rolling,” Parton said. Suite 1986 can now be your temporary Dolly Parton hideaway, as Dollywood DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge is accepting reservations from $10,000 for a two-night stay.

Further inside, there are recessed areas in the walls and closed cupboards that store everything from a brightly colored guitar, a dreamcatcher and storage space for her many wigs (the godmother of Miley Cyrus owns more than 300 wigs). According to Dollywood Parks & Resorts, it was inside this bus that Parton wrote songs like “Backwoods Barbie” and “9 to 5: the Musical.”

For $10,000, the Dolly Parton Bus Experience sleeps two people, and the reservation comes with an additional DreamMore room that sleeps four people.

The bus is in an enclosed space outside of DreamMore with a restaurant and amenities nearby for a wholesome experience. “I loved all my time on the bus, I was traveling with my friend Judy (Ogle), my best friend from Sevierville. We’ve been friends since we were in third grade and we just drove all those miles together,” said Parton said “But we had a lot of wonderful memories of people who came by bus to visit, when we traveled, dignitaries, stars, everyone, but all of the memories are special to me.”
